I was all set to have my second surgery done tomorrow in a hospital downstate. Mojo’s neck healed up nicely, his dog sitter was lined up, meal planning/cooking done, oil changed , housework caught up and…. wait. This feels like deja vu.

<cue plot twist>

I’m currently waiting for the results of testing that was done for a serious gastro issue that hit my system early this week, so my surgery has been cancelled. Again. Whatever bug hit me, hit me pretty hard and I’m just starting to regain some strength back. A liquid diet coupled with very little sleep and stomach pain got the best of me quickly.

I’m hoping for answers asap, since my surgeon only has a few openings the first week of March and then she will be on vacation for most of the month. That would put my surgery out until April.

At this point I’ve run out of inspirational quotes. I just want this surgery done.
