Bird Watcher

A favorite past time.

“I think the most important quality in a birdwatcher is a willingness to stand quietly and see what comes. Our everyday lives obscure a truth about existence - that at the heart of everything there lies a stillness and a light.”
― Lynn Thomson

Mojo is such an attentive bird watcher. He doesn't have a strong prey drive with birds, which is fine with us as we no longer hunt small or large game, but he enjoys watching them (and sometimes chasing them).

He has been fascinated by our local birds since the first day he noticed them, especially the large and loud Pileated Woodpeckers.

I totally get that.
